Question Answer
Stars have many characteristics to differentiate them. -Colour -Size -Distance -Temperature -Brightness
The lowest temperature of stars corresponds to a colour. The coldest star is red with temperature <3500 K.
Generally, stars have colours that correspond to its surface temperature. The hottest star is blue with temperature >25000 K.
The life cycle of a Neutron star Nebula -> Large star -> Red giant -> Supergiant -> Supernova -> Neutron star
The brightness of stars depends on certain characteristics of stars. size, distance and surface temperature.
The brightest stars in the sky. Sirius and Rigel.
Forming a Red giant star. -In a star, a lot of heat is generated. -The heat goes to the outermost layer of the star, causing the hydrogen within to burn. - The star will start to expand and appear red in colour.
The star formed from Super-large star. A black hole is formed when the original star is a Super-large star.
