Question Answer
Maths There are 3 types of Averages: Mean = Add all the value and then divide by how many they are. Median = Order them and then find the middle value. Mode = The most frequent number. Range = Lowest value take the Highest. An example at the back
Area get's more complex then L x W x H. The Formulas can be found at the back of the card. Perimeter however is different; It's the distance outside the shape.
Circle Theorems To work out the area of a circle we use πr2. To work out the Circumference we use πrd. Radius is the distance from the centre to the edge of a circle. The diameter is A straight line going through the centre of a circle connecting two points on the circumference.
Pythagoras' Theorem Pythagoras' Theorem works with a right-angled triangle : A2+B2 =C2
Trigonometry Trigonometry can be used to calculate the lengths of sides and sizes of angles in right-angled triangles. Hypotenuse is the longest side, opposite is opposite the angle and adjacent is right next to the angle. SOHCAHTOA is used to work out what you need to find.
