Question Answer
Animals Burrowing animals (e.g. rabbits) can burrow into a crack in the rock, making it bigger & splitting the rock.
Plants Plant roots can grow in cracks. As they grow bigger, the roots push open the cracks and make them deeper & wider. The rock may fall away.
Humans People walk on footpaths, and they become damaged because shoes wear them away.
