Question Answer
What is Bottom's role in the play? Pyramus
Why do the men change some parts in the play? They change some parts so that the women don't get frightened by the blood and gore in the play. The women's unhappiness could lead to them getting hanged (gulp).
What do the actors plan to do to make the play less "scary" for the women? Write a prologue for the lion character informing the audience that the lion in the play is in fact a human being acting as a lion (people weren't very bright, I'm assuming).
What will the actors use as a makeshift wall? They will dress up a person as a wall (yeah, they DEFINITELY weren't smart).
Who made Bottom's head a donkey's head? Puck (Robin)
Who does Titania fall in love with as soon as she wakes up? Bottom, complete with donkey head and ginormous ego.
How does Bottom treat the four fairies? (Cobweb, Peaseblossom, Mustardseed, and Moth) He treats them with disrespect, making fun of their names and taking them literally.
Is Oberon satisfied with Titania falling in love with Bottom? YES. Some twisted marriage they have . . .
Who did Puck accidentally put the flower's nectar on? Lysander (he was supposed to put it on Demetrius's eyes).
What two people had nectar on their eyes and fell in love with Helena? Lysander and Demetriuc
Is Helena happy that the two are in love with her? No, she is mad at them for what she assumes is a cruel joke they are playing.
Is Lysander still in love with Hermia? NOPE (burrrrrrrnnnnn).
Are Helena and Hermia still friends? No. They are both blaming each other for Demetrius and Lysander's actions.
Does ANYONE love Hermia? NO (mwahaha)
What insult does Helena give Hermia? Helena calls Hermia short
What does Puck do as soon as he realizes the mistake he's made? He follows the plan made by Oberon and drives the two men as far away from each other as possible, and put nectar on Lysander's eyes to reverse the effects (he'll return back to normal).
What do Demetrius and Lysander do? Challenge each other to a duel (yes I know that was a vague question).
What do Hermia and Helena do? Exhausted, they both sleep in the forest (far away from each other, of course).
