Question Answer
JOHN PROCTER An individual and proud man, develops his own opinions rather than just following the pack. Does not want to be involved nor has respect for the doings in Salem. He wants to retain his dignity and the value of his name.
Reverend John Hale Hale is a confident man when he first arrives in Salem, although an outsider. Sense of self and guilt grows throughout the play. He becomes a broken man, a self confessed hypocrite. Changes the most.
Abigail Williams Lack of love, independant, thrives to fit in, bitter, cold and manipulative. Obtains a lack of belonging to the community. Creates a heinous crime against humanity
