Factorizatoion | When you find the prime-power factorization, you multiply all the simplest form numbers together to get your original answer. |
Factorization Practice: Find the prime power factors of 28 | 28 is divisible by 7 and 4. 7 can't be narrowed down anymore, so it will be one of the prime-power factors. 4 is divisible by 2 and 2, but 2 can't be narrowed down anymore, so they are the other prime factors we will use. The way to write the answer is 2^2x7 |
