What happened in the bosnian crisis? Serbia were angry at the takeover of Bosnia but weren't strong enough to challenge austria. Serbia appealed to russia who demanded an international conference to discuss the issue. The kaiser promised germany's full support for austria (supporting germany in algeciras). Russia backed off when faced with german opposition.
What is the significance of the bosnian crisis? Leaves russia feeling angry and humiliated. Strengthens triple alliance. However italy didnt support austria. Russia began to build up its army. In serbia there was a rising tide of nationalism and a hatred of austria.
