Why is depuis used with the present tense? | Depuis is used with the present tense to say how long something has been happening. |

What can depuis also be used for? | To imply something is still going on, eg: j’attends le train depuis une heure - I’ve been waiting for the train for an hour (and still am waiting) |
When do verbs sometimes stay in their infinitive? | When one verb follows another in a sentence or phrase, the first verb needs to be in the right form, but the second is always in the infinitive form. |
