  • HOW BEES MAKE HONEY
  •     They store the honey they get in their honey stomach, different from their food stomach.
  •   They collect Nectar from the blossom by sucking it out with their tongues.
  • Once their honey stomach is full, they pass it to other bees to chew it for about half an hour.
  • Until it gradually turns into honey, they mix it with the enzymes in their mouth, while collecting nectar
  • Then the bees store it in honey comb cells which is made of wax like tiny jars.
  • The honey is a little wet, so they fan it with their wings making it more sticky.
  • When ready, they seal the cell with a wax lid to keep it clean.
