ZERO
1. (if + present simple, ... present simple
2. When the condition and m result is always true , such as scientific facts.
3. If you heat water to 100 degrees, it boils.
FIRST
1. if + present simple, ... will + infinitive
2. to talk about things which might happen in the future
3. If it rains tomorrow, we'll go to the cinema.
SECOND
1. if + past simple, ... would + infinitive
2. to talk about things in the future that are probably not going to be true. Maybe I'm imagining some dream for example.
3. If I won the lottery, I would buy a big house
THIRD
1. if + past perfect, ... would + have + past participle
2. It's used to describe a situation that didn't happen, and to imagine the result of this situation.
3. If she had studied, she would have passed the exam
