7) material: wooden, silk, plastic.
8) purpose, writing.
Comparison
Comparative adjectives are used when a comparison is done between two things
For one syllable adjective, ‘er’ is added at the end to make it comparative.
Rohan is taller than Rakesh.
superlative adjective is applied in the sentences, when a single thing or a person is compared with every other member of that group.
‘est’ is added at the end to make it superlative.
Rajan is the tallest boy in the class.
For adjectives with three syllables or more, you form the comparative with more and the superlative with most.
