It is a set of rational procedures used to achieve the
objective or range of objectives that govern a scientific
investigation, a doctrinal exposition or tasks that require
specific skills, knowledge or care.
Level 1. Philosophical and theoretical
Ontology: It is a term used by scholars of
the philosophy of science to describe the
nature of what the researcher seeks to
know.
Level 2: Pistemological Epistemology: It is a term that
describes the nature of knowledge and the means of
knowledge
Level 3: Methodological approach: The
methodology describes the underlying
reasons for the choice and use of specific
methods in the research process
