Molecule created by the join and repetition of structural units called monomers ->polymerisation
TYPES OF PLASTICS
1. According to their internal structure
  1. Elastomers
    1. Elastic thermosetting polymers
  2. Thermosetting polymers
    1. 3-D chins of polymers
    2. Can be moulded applying heat and pressure
    3. Difficult to recycle
  3. Thermoplastics
    1. Easy to break by applying heat and come back together when they are cooled -> easy to recycled
    2. Lineal chain of polymers
