3. Present perfect
  1. Something that happened in the past that has a result in the present
    1. A new dance club has oppened town, so we can go there for my party !
  2. For something that happened at an indefinite time in the past
    1. Kate has learned to play a musical instrument
Have been and have gone
1. We use have gone to say that somebody has gone to a place and has not returned
  1. Tony has gone to be teather
2. "Have been" is used to say that somebody went to a place and has returned
  1. Tony has been to the theater
