Arimethic logic unit(ALU)
1. Able to perform basic arithemtic operations. Substract multply and divide two numbers
2. Able to perform logical operations(AND OR NOT)
Control Unit (CU)
1. Controls the CPU and is the organizing force
  1. Instruction Register(IR): Holds the instrucion
  2. Program counter(PC) Contains the adress of the next instruction
2. Bus: Makes information flow around the CPU
  1. Adress bus: Adresses of locations in the primary memory are transferred
  2. Data bus: Actual data is transferred via this bus
Primary Memory
1. Cache: Stores frequently used instructions
2. RAM: holds data and instructions.

The machine cycle
1. Fetch:retrieves instructions of memory
2. Decode: Breaks down instruction to parts
3. Execute: The instruction is executed
4. Writeback: Writes the result of the execute step
