Technology in Virginia: Virginia was characterized by its neighbors and its immediate satellites called tobacco colonies.
Virginia Food: There were many agricultural products and this was due to trade from England and The West Indies and since England was known for frying most of the food was fried.
Virginia economy: depended on agriculture, as its main source of wealth/money. African men, women & children were brought to the Virginia Colony & enslaved to work on tobacco plantations. Colonial Virginia was dependent on slave labor.
The number of people residing in the Virginia Colony increased gradually from 1700-1730; but, between 1730 and 1760, these numbers increased dramatically from 114,000 to 340,000.
Capital: Jamestown
The Jamestown settlement in the Colony of Virginia was the first permanent English settlement in the Americas. It was located on the northeast bank of the James. Southwest of the center of modern Williamsburg.
Hotel Virginia: This hotel is located in the Capital of Virginia in Jamestown on The James River. Every person who visits Virginia stays at this place because is the fanciest hotel in Virginia.
