Stages of an investigation
  1. Planning
    1. Any statistical data collection needs a plan that hels detail the aspects or characteristics that the research will deal with, and to solve the posible problems that arise in the investigation. The research plan is made up of. • Study objective • Finality • Source of information • The procedures • The mterial • The cost and fundpending
    2. Collection
      1. Data colletion depends on the finale result of the statistics, if this collection goes wrong, the elaboration is incorrect and impossible to carry out. This stage comprises several aspects: • Distibution of the mterial or colletion instrument • Previously said colletion • Control of numbers of the collected forms • Control over the amount of informaction collected
      2. Organisasion
        1. Statistical organization is very importantto carry out research. there are two trends: Centralist: It is necessary for the technical order, since the direction of all investigations must be central and general for the entire territory, field of investigation and for all personnel involved. Decentralisation: It has an administrative, executive order, which selects personnel, cooperates to the material, collects the data, controls the goodness of the investigations and can serve as an intermediary between different categories of dependencies.
        2. Analysis
          1. Data analysis is related to the formulation of the very objective of the investigation and the established hypotheses. This stage involves studying each phase of the investigation and providing a summary that can be represented in graphs, charts, tables, etc. This phase has two aspects: a) Analysis and statistical evaluation of the results. b)Analysis and technical evaluation according to the nature of the investigation.
          2. Results presentation
            1. The presentation of results is the final phase of the investigation, since the total result of the study is presented, all the aspects tha are considered in the process are raised, so tha it can be understandable and there are valid conclusions.
