SAB9# 63 Analysis Diagram Red
  1. Definition
    1. A diagramming technique to visualize the dependencies of the activities and calculate the total duration of the project.
    2. Dependence
      1. • (FS) Finish to Start: The start of the activity thus successor to the completion of the predecessor activity
        1. • (FF) Final Final: The completion of the successor activity depends upon the completion of the predecessor activity.
          1. • (SS) Star to Start The initiation of the successor activity depends upon the initiation of the predecessor activity.
            1. • (SF) Start to Finish: The completion of the successor activity depends upon the initiation of the predecessor activity.
            2. Characteristics:
              1. Each activity is represented by a box and only one
                1. Each frame has a number of unique activities
                  1. The activities are arranged in the order of the presidency to know when you start first
                    1. You can start an activity to finish the preceding
                      1. There may be concurrent activities
                      2. Concepts
                        1. • Predecessor Activity: Activity that precedes the successor activity
                          1. • successor Activity: Activity happens predecessor activities
                            1. • Critical Path: Path or going from start to finish and also takes longer compared to other routes
                              1. • Full Clearance: The additional time available to complete an activity, if all the above activities as early as possible and start the following latest
                                1. • free float; Is the additional time that may extend an activity without affecting the next start of any subsequent activity
                                  1. the critical chain is the sequence of precedences and dependent on resources that prevent a project, which is given limited resources, can be completed in less time terminal elements . If the resources of a project were always available in unlimited quantities , then the critical chain of a project would be equal to its critical path.
                                  2. Steps
                                    1. Define the project and prepare the work breakdown structure
                                      1. Development of relations between activities
                                        1. Draw the network connecting all activities
                                          1. Calculate the time of the longest path
                                            1. Using the network to help plan your schedule, you supervise and control the project
                                    2. Activities list
