We use it for to narrate events that ocurred at a specific time in the past.
1. In the questions, we use placing the verb (did) continued

The structure of the simple past in regular verbs:
1. subject+ past tense, ending *ed*
  1. -I played tennis yesterday.
    1. -He danced with me.
      1. -We finally mailed the letter.
  2. for verbs that end in *e* add *D*
    1. whe the verbs ends in a consonant the letters are repeated less *Y,W*
      1. with verbs that end in *Y* added *ie*
The structure of irregular verbs
1. The verb change when in past. Ex:
  1. -I ate lunch at noon today.

      1. -We went shopping to the mall and I bought clothes
In negative sentences, the auxiliary verb be in the past (did
1. and the main verb is the infinitive.
2. -I didn´t go to salamanca last month.
  1. -She didn´t do the homerwork yesterday.

1. With were and was
  1. -I was at the party the saturday
    1. -Were we in your house?
