            2. Omission
              1. means dropping a word or words from the SLT while translating.

              2. Equivalence
                1. This is a translation procedure which uses a completely different expression or cultural equivalent
                  1. Example: SL '' Este nuevo cargador para mi telefono que me compro mi padre es el que necesitaba, pensamos igual'' TL ''This new charger for my cellphone which my father bought is what I needed, like a father, like a son''
                2. Modulation
                  1. Modulation is about changing the form of the text by introducing a semantic change or perspective
                    1. Example: SL ''necesitamos acomodar las nuevas memorias para los teléfonos'' TL ''We need to put in a properly place for the pen drive
                  2. Literal Translation
                    1. This means a word-for-word translation, achieving a text in the target language which is as correct as it is idiomatic.
                      1. Example: SL "Mi iPhone 7 tiene la mejor camara " TL "My iPhone 7 has the best Cam"
                    2. Transposition
                      1. Transposition involves moving from one grammatical category to another without altering the meaning of the text. This technique introduces a change in grammatical structure.
                        1. Example: SL ''Los estudiantes de la Latina crearon la aplicacion que xopa'' TL ''The que xopa app is was made by Latina's students''
