• A written story told through the characters' dialogue to be read by actors.

1. Setting

   Annotations:

   • The time and place in the drama.
2. Characters

   Annotations:

   • All the charactes in a drama or play.
3. Dialogue

   Annotations:

   • What the characters say. The drama is told through the dialogue.
4. Stage directions

   Annotations:

   • A written instruction in a play.  telling an actor what to do Joey:(Jumping and shouting) I finally won the lottery !
5. Acts and scenes

   Annotations:

   • The action that takes place in a single setting.
