Impact on ecosystems
Many species are vulnerable and

possible solutions to global
warming
Do not burn or cut the trees,
checking the use of fertilizers and
pesticides, not throw solid waste in
inappropriate places, Regular
shuttle service, create public
awareness
reduce the consumption of electricity, limit water consumption,
greater use of solar energy, use recycled paper, walk or use public
transportation, recycle aluminum cans, plastic and glass as well as
the cardboard and paper.
Scientists made an alarming discovery in the
1980s. They found out that the average temperature
of the Earth's surface was slowly rising. This trend is
called global warming.
The Kyoto Protocol
The Kyoto Protocol on climate change2 is a protocol to the UN Framework
Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and an international agreement that
aims to reduce emissions of six greenhouse gases that cause global warming:
carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O), plus three
fluorinated industrial gases: hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs)
and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), in an approximate percentage of at least 5% in the
period from 2008 to 2012, compared to 1990 emissions.
