and rationally about what to
do or what to believe.

IMPROVE OUR THINKING SKILLS
Critical thinking is a higher level
cognitive ability that involves
thinking about thinking.
Three critical components are
needed to improve critical
thinking skills.
THEORY
If we want to think
correctly, we must
follow the correct rules
of reasoning.
The basic principles of
critical thinking, such
as the laws of logic,
methods of scientific
reasoning, etc.
PRACTICE
There are two ways of
internalizing theoretical
principles.
One is to do a lot of
good quality exercises
like discussion and
discussions with
other people in
everyday life
The other method is to think
more deeply about the
principles we have acquired
in the human mind,
memory and understanding
are acquired through the
creation of connections
between ideas.
ATTITUDES
The following
attitudes are an
obstacle to critical
thinking
I prefer being given the
correct answers rather
than figuring them out
myself.
I don't like to
think a lot about
my decisions as I
rely only on gut
feelings.
I don't usually
review the
mistakes I have
made.
I don't like
to be
criticized.
To improve our critical
thinking we must
recognize that reflecting
on the reasons for belief
and action is important
FAMOUS QUOTES

powerful factor in human

the most powerful, not just in
the conduct of the many but in
the conduct of all. - Hannah
Arendt
The aim of education should be
to teach us rather how to think,
than what to think -- rather to
improve our minds, so as to
enable us to think for ourselves,
than to load the memory with
thoughts of other men. - Bill
Beattie
To study and not think is
futile. To think and not
study is dangerous. -
Confucius
Anyone who has begun
to think, places some
portion of the world in
jeopardy. - John Dewey

reflecting is like eating
without digesting. -
