Antenatal
  1. 1.Greeting, Welcome
    1. 2.Observe for deviations to norm in appearance pale, sweaty, clamy, breathless etc
      1. 3.Review Green notes
        1. 4.Routine AN Check - BP & Urinalysis - Gain consent
          1. 5.Ensure bladder is empty, women is comfortable and lying in a semi-recumbant position (Ask mom to lift or lower clothing)
            1. 6.Observation - Check for signs of trauma rashes, bruises etc
              1. 7.Palpation - Gain Consent - Fundal (height), Lateral (lie) & Pelvis (presentation & engagement)
                1. 8.Obtain Fetal Height Measurement & Plot on individualised Growth Chart
                2. 9.Auscultation - Ask about pattern of movements - Normal 110-160bpm. Done for reassurance, not recommended by NICE
                  1. 10.Check Latest FBC for HB ? Anaemia
                    1. 11.Dicuss AN parent education classes (attendance at) address any questions or concerns raised by those
                      1. 12.Discuss Tour of unit
                        1. 13.Discuss birth plan & document in green notes
                          1. 14.Discuss signs of labour, Braxton Hicks & Breastfeeding
                            1. 15.Ensure adequate time is booked for appointment so as not to impact on other peoples appointment slots
                              1. 16.Document Contemporaneously & refer any deviations to the norm to appropriate member of the MDT
