   1. the Munich beer hall putsch
      1. the Munich putsch was a failed attempt at revolution. it occurred between the 8th of November and the early afternoon of the 9th of November, 1923. Hitler and other heads of the Kampfbund unsuccessfully tried to seize power in Munich
      2. Hitler wanted to seize power over Munich so he could use it as a base so they could do a big march against the Weimar republic. Hitler was inspired by Benito Mussolini when he did a successful march on Rome.
