  1. Straight Lines
    1. y=mx+c
      1. y-b=m(x-a)
        1. y= y co-ord
          1. x= x co-ord
            1. c= y-intercept
              1. m= (y2-y1) ÷ (x2-x1)
              2. Simultaneous equations
                1. Label each equation 1 and 2
                  1. find a value that can be added or subtracted on each line to make 0 e.g. 2x and 2x on each line
                    1. If not times the lines so they have a matching value
                      1. take away/add the entire line to make value 0
                        1. now simplfy the expression to find the remaining letter
                          1. sub this value into one of the equations to find the other one
                  2. 7x+2y=32 (1) 3x-2y=8 (2) (add) 10x+0=40 x=4 Sub (x=4) into (2) 3X4+2y=8 y=2 x=4 y=2
