   2. he isnt there but they inspect his rooms
   3. utterson surprised by how nice they are compared to hyde himself
   4. main room is ransacked

      2. other half of the murder weapon is discoverd
5. jekylls reaction to the news
   1. mr utterson goes to see dr jekyll
      1. jekyll looks ill and scared
      2. he has heard about the murder and promises never to see mr hyde again
      3. jekyll shows a letter hand deliverd by mr hyde saying he has made an escape
   2. utterson gives letter to his head clerk
      1. the clerk points out that the handwritting matches dr jekylls
      2. utterson shocked at the idea of jekyll helping hyde
