Resource summary
The four noble truths
Dukkha-all life involves suffering
Life is unsatisfactory
Suffering is not preventable
Unless you follow the steps of Buddhism
Tanha-cause of suffering is craving
Life is unsatisfactory as we rely on things that make us happy but everything is unreliable
The 3 poisons are greed, hatred and stupidity
When we are motivated by the 3 poisons we end up suffering
To overcome Dukkha you must overcome Tanha
You must overcome desires
The only way to stop craving is to discover inner satisfaction
We must find happiness to rely on ourselves
The way to overcome Tanha is the middle way
A life of luxury will cause dissatisfaction in the long run
A life of hardship causes us to crave
The middle way is the middle of luxury and hardship
