Computer Hardware
  1. Hard Drive
    1. Stores all the computers data even if the computer is turned off. The solid state drive is the newest version quickest but is also the most expensive.
    2. Motherboard
      1. The motherboard is the computer's main circuit board. It's a thin plate that holds the CPU, memory, and connections to your computer's port. The motherboard connects directly or indirectly to every part of the computer.
      2. Power Supply
        1. Takes the power directly from the wall plug and sends it to all the componets.
        2. RAM (Random Access Memory)
          1. Short term memory where your computer stores the information while you are working on it but doesn't save it. It gets wiped when you turn your computer off.
          2. Heat Sink
            1. Draws heat away from the processor to stop it from over heating.
            2. CPU (Computer Processing Unit)
              1. Brain of the computer, processes information and carries out commands.

                1. Graphics and video cards can be added to improve performance
