Resource summary
9G Navarro Sequence In Seperating Mixture
Components of the Given Mixture
Water
Alcohol
AgCl
Pebbles
Nickel
Styrofoam beads
Seperation Proper
Step 1: Use a beaker for the first seperation method to be used
Step 2: Use Floatation to isolate the styrofoam beads from the mixture
Styrofoam beads ISOLATED
Step 3: Prepare a magnet to isolate another component of the mixture
Step 4: Using the magnet, one can seperate the metallic element, Nickel, from the mixture
Nickel ISOLATED
Step 5: For the next component to be seperated, prepare two beakers, thermometer, a heat source and a condensor
Step 6: You can isolate alcohol from the mixture through Fractional Distillatiom
Alcohol ISOLATED
Through Fractional Distillation, the only components left of the mixture are AgCl, water & pebbles
Step 7: To seperate water from the other components, use Filtration with a funnel and filtration paper with a beaker
Water ISOLATED
Step 8: Before seperating the last two components, analyze the present outcome
Step 9: Through Mechanical Seperation, the mixture can be fully seperated through this last step
Pebbles ISOLATED
END OF SEPERATION/MIXTURE SEPERATED
AgCl RECOVERED
