                                      1. Highly educated people usually have enough money for a nice boat and therfore a nice device for the boat.
                                        1. Just because you have a boat and are well off doesn't mean you have experience with techincal drawings and things asscoiated to Graphical design.

                                          3. What
                                            1. A Device meant to help boat drivers and owners whilst they are captaining their craft.
                                              1. Device for a boat that allows the user to easily use the gadgets.
                                                1. GPS/Maps
                                                  1. Fish Finder

                                                        2. When
                                                          1. Everyday
                                                            1. It could possibly be used everyday but it is highly unlikely that it will be used everyday unless it is aimed at commerical fishers
                                                          2. Where
                                                            1. On board a water craft vessel
                                                            2. How
                                                              1. Consider:
                                                                1. The stand - will it be inbuilt into the boat (In built charging then) or removeable and able to be transfered to other boats
                                                                  1. Most people only have 1 boat so the transferrable thing is not as useful
                                                                    1. The device in boats currently are often remvable becuase boats are stored outdoor and as a result left out in the weather conditions
                                                                      1. Water proof so elements are not as big of a concern but the need to be cleaned as the salt from the water and any sand or mud will become a problem if not cleaned
                                                                      2. The charging?
                                                                        1. Could be connected into the boat and would draw power and charge from the engine - motor is off so is the device though...
                                                                          1. A removable device could also use the power from the motor to charge itself.
                                                                            1. If it charges off of the engine - maybe it could still be one when drifting or anchored as it would be fully charged
                                                                            2. The uses of each of the devices
                                                                              1. I.e. the radio needs to have a microphone so that you can speak into it and the maps/GPS would need to have a bit where you can type it where you want to go or drop a marker to say you have been there before.
                                                                              2. Age of the people using it
                                                                                1. Big buttons? large text? technologu savy people & not technology savy people?
                                                                                2. Size
                                                                                  1. Size? Height? portablility?
Show full summary Hide full summary
