Characteristics of
Divine and Non-Divine
Religions
Divine Religions
Judaism, Christianity, Islam
Those religions which had been
revealed by God in the form of
scriptures, which transmitted by the
chosen people known as messengers
"It is He who has sent down the Book (Qur'an)
to You (Muhammad) with truth, confirming what
came before it, and He sent down the Taurat
(Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)"- Ali Imran 3:3
only Islam maintains its
position as an authentic
divine religion
There are contradictions in the Bible in the
concept of oneness of God example
Matthew 4:10, Mark 12:32, Galatians 3:20
talk about oneness of God but Timothy
2:5, John 3:16-17 are opposite of these
statements
In contrast, the messages of Islam in its holy
scripture remain intact without any distortion or
discrepancy
NOn-Divine Religions
those religions founded based on the thought of their respective founders or seers/ man-made religions
