                                            • Since lectures are a one time event and each lecture differs from the other. It would be a marvelous idea to have a database of lectures and listen to them over and over again for generations. Tremendous of value is lost when a lecturer speaks such as Arnold Schwarceneger and then it is not recorded. The chance a person like him visiting our school again for the same exact lecture is one in a million. And the unrecorded lecture is lost forever.

                                              • By reusing lectures, it helps save money. Why invite every year the same person talk about the same things to the new freshmens, while we can just play recordings from last year.

                                                        • Why would students listen to this while the internet is full of lecturers on similar topics i.e. TED. Lecturers would not want to be recorded. Or would not give permission to use recordings over and over. Or would charge a commission fee whenever the recording is reused, after all this is their business how they make money.
