      1. Social Sustainability- Allows even the very poor to get to work in the city centre (rubbish exchange programme)
        1. Environmental Sustainability- prevents 30 million car journeys a day so reduces air pollution
          1. Environmental Sustainability-Buses run on bio-fuel so there are less CO2 emissions and global warming
            1. Economic Sustainability- Costs 500 times less than the metro system
