    1. Animal -wool
      1. Wool is the fiber derived from the fur of animals of the Caprinae family, principally sheep, but the hair of certain species of other mammals
      2. Vegetable - cotton
        1. means plant cotton
      3. 1.11.2 Synthetic
        1. Polyester
          1. Polyester also refers to the various polymers in which the backbones are formed by the “esterification condensation of polyfunctional alcohols and acids”.
          2. Acrylic
            1. Acrylic fiber, a synthetic fiber of polyacrylonitrile
          3. 1.11.3 Woven
            1. Plain - calaco
              1. cotton fabric with a small, all-over floral print. Muslin – simple, cheap equal weft and warp plain weave fabric in white
              2. Twill - denim
                1. Twill refers to the diagonal pattern in which cloth is often woven
              3. 1.11.4 Non woven
                1. Felted wool fabric
                  1. 100% wool fabric that has been 'felted' by washing in hot water which shrinks the fibres down into a tighter weave
                  2. Bonded fibres/webs
                    1. Bonded fibre fabric is simply a web or mass of fibres held together with a bonding agent.
                  3. 1.11.5 Knitted
                    1. Weft-knitted fabrics
                      1. this is where the stitches run from left to right
                      2. Warp-knitted fabrics
                        1. this is where you the stitches run in zig zags
                      3. 1.11.6 Properties
                        1. Elasticity
                          1. the ability of an object or material to resume its normal shape after being stretched or compressed
                          2. Resiliance
                            1. the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness
                            2. Durability
                              1. the ability to withstand wear, pressure, or damage.
