area and perimeter
- The Perimeter is the space on the outside of the shape. so you find all of the sizes then add them up and that's your perimeter.
- so you do : 5cm + 5cm + 8cm + 8cm= 26cm
- so you do : 5cm + 5cm + 8cm + 8cm= 26cm
- Area: you have to x the length by the width then that's your answer.
- so its : 8 x 5= 40
- so its : 8 x 5= 40
