      1. The Ministry - House of Representatives and Senate
        1. Ministry and Shadow Ministry
          1. Both of these two houses elect nab officer. The presiding officer of the Senate is called the President; that of the House is the speaker. A secret ballet is used for elections and both offices are normally filled with members of the governing side. Presiding officers are required to control debate and galvanise their members in a neutral way
          2. Represent the People
            1. The upper house or the house of review, the Senate has the same role as the House of Representatives. The Senate is made up of 76 senators: each elected to represent one of 6 states or two territories of Australia.
              1. This is one of two houses inside the Australian Parliament. The House of Representatives is known as the lower house, it represents the people. 150 people are elected to become a part of the house and are referred to as Mp's.
              2. Has the power to make and change the laws of Australia
                1. Electorate:- There are 150 single member electorates from 88 single-member electoral districts they represent all the people in every ward of every district in each state or territory.

                        1. Also known as the Head of State, the Queen overlooks Australia's government. At her coronation in 1953, she made an oath to Australia to run the country "According to their respective laws and customs".
                        2. Cabinet - In Australia the cabinet is made up of Senior ministers of the Crown. They meet up weekly to discuss issues and formulate policy, it is a very private matter. The Governor-General appoints members, and seeks advice of the Prime Minister. He serves at the latters pleasure.
                          1. The Governor General is the commander in-chief of australian defence force and is the voice for the Queen. He also begins an elections and provides Royal Assent

                                    2. The highest court in the judicial system of Australia, is the High Court. The main ideas of the High Court is to interpret and apply the laws of the country throughout the Federal, State and Territory Courts.
