All objects continually emit and absorb radiation.
The hotter the object the more radiation it emits.
A Dark,Matt surface is the BOSS of absorbing and emitting Infrared Radiation.
A Light,Shiney surface is not very good at absorbing or emitting radiation.But they're good reflectors
Can pass through the vaccume of space as it doesn't involve particles.
