SIMPLE PAST - QUESTION AND NEGATIVE

Annotations:

• Para hablar en preguntas y negaciones del pasado en el caso de otros verbos (que no sean verbo "To be"), se usan las siguientes reglas: Tanto para negaciones como para preguntas el Verbo generalmente se pone en "Presente".

1. QUESTION

   Annotations:

   • En inglés en general hablamos de 2 tipos de preguntas, no importa de que tiempo se hable (presente, pasado, futuro, etc). Las preguntas "Yes or No" se responden con "sí" o con "No". ejemplo: ¿Estudiaste programación anoche?. Lo cual se responde con "sí" o  "No". Las preguntas "WH" se responden con información específica. ejemplo: ¿Qué estudiaste anoche?. Lo cual se responde con algo en específico, por ejemplo "Programación".
   1. Yes or No

      Annotations:

      • Para hacer preguntas "Yes or No" del pasado se usa la siguiente estructura: Did + sujeto + (verbo en presente) + complemento ? Para responder se usa lo siguiente: Yes, (I, you, he, she, it, we, they)  did. No, (I, you, he, she, it, we, they) didn't.
      1. Did Andres copy the file last night?

         Annotations:

         • ¿ Andres copió el archivo anoche?
         1. Yey, he did.

            Annotations:

            • Si, sí lo hizo.
         2. No, he didn't.

            Annotations:

            • No, no lo hizo.
      2. Did the 3A students use the computers yesterday?

         Annotations:

         • ¿ Los estudiantes de 3A usaron las computadoras ayer?
         1. Yes, they did.

            Annotations:

            • Sí, lo hicieron (las usaron).
         2. No, they didn't.

            Annotations:

            • No, no lo hicieron ( no las usaron).
   2. WH

      Annotations:

      • Para hacer preguntas "WH" generalmente se agrega la palabra WH al principio, usando la estructura de una pregunta "Yes or No". Las palabras WH son las siguientes: What = Qué? Where= Dónde? When= Cuándo? Who= Quién? Wh + Did + sujeto + (verbo en presente) + complemento ?
      1. What did the 3A students use yesterday?

         Annotations:

         • ¿ Qué usaron los estudiantes de 3A ayer ?
         1. Computers

            Annotations:

            • Computadoras.
      2. When did Andres copy the file?

         Annotations:

         • ¿ Cuándo copió Andres el archivo?
         1. Last night

            Annotations:

            • Anoche
2. NEGATIVE

   Annotations:

   • Para hablar del pasado en "negativo" se usa la siguiente estructura: Sujeto + didn't + (verbo en presente) + complemento.
   1. Andres didn't copy the file last night.

      Annotations:

      • Andres no copió el archivo anoche.
   2. The 3A students didn't use the computers yesterday.

      Annotations:

      • Los estudiantes de 3A no usaron las computadoras ayer.
