    1. The fist character we see is a young girl which makes us think that she is the victim, as in stereotypical thrillers a young girl is the target.
      1. The low key lighting makes it seem scary and creepy, again making the audience anticipate whats going to happen.
        1. The girls jogging costume tells the audience that shes probably very athletic and physically fit. this contradicts to the typical vulnerable victim.
          1. Props of guns and gadgets makes it seem thrilling and dangerous.
            1. Editing
              1. There is a continuous shot that follows her running through the woods which gives the impression that she is being followed by something/someone making the audience wonder whats going to happen.
                1. The short takes of her running through the forest which switch from her head to her feet makes her seem as though she is running faster than she actually is
                2. Camera Work
                  1. There are zooms in of the setting so that the audience can get the full effect of the forest emphasizing its creepy nature making it seem like a thriller
                    1. The long shot shows the setting and gives the audience an idea of where the film is set
                      1. The words that were shown, 'pain' 'agony' 'love', could communicate some themes that could run throughout the film
                      2. Sound
                        1. Hyperbolic footsteps amplifies the sound and makes it seem more dramatic
                          1. There is a diaegetic sound of a crow squawking adding to the creepy feeling of the woods
