      1. Once it has grown all the way, the third stage begins. This stage is the chrysalis. The caterpillar makes a chrysalis. The caterpillar is inside the chrysalis. Inside the chrysalis, it begins to change. It soon transforms into a butterfly.
        1. Once the caterpillar has been transformed into a butterfly, the fourth stage begins. This is also the last stage in the life cycle. The fourth stage is the butterfly. A butterfly comes out of the chrysalis. Now you can learn to fly. You can also find a partner. When he finds a partner, he lays eggs. Then the lifecycle process begins again.
