Phase of Indiscriminate Attachments
6 weeks - 6/7 months
clearly enjoy human company but tend to be indiscriminate. Begin to smile more at people and fuss when adults put them down
Specific Attachments Phase
7 - 9 months
begin to protest only when separated from one specific individual. Also become aware of strangers
Phase of Multiple Attachments
9 - 18 months
become attached to other people by 18 months and become attached to more than just one person
