Course Description: The academic course Didactics of Social Science is an elective three academic-credits course that belongs to
the disciplinal professional training component of the B.A. Program in Foreign Language with emphasis in English teaching at
UNAD. Learning purpose of this course is to strengthen the foreign language teaching abilities through the implementation of
Social Science in the language classroom through the development of meaningful tasks.

-To recognize basic concepts related to the Social
Science studies through the contrast of previous
knowledge and information given in the course
material. -To explore different theoretical
concepts useful for the contextualization of the
Social Science as a teaching resource. - To

are beneficial for the inclusion of social science
in the language teaching process. -To implement
