Resource summary
Viscosity
It is how quickly fluids flow
How quickly fluids flow is called flow rate
It is determined by a fluids resistance or friction that keeps it from flowing.
High Viscosity=Low flow rate Low Viscosity=High flow rate
The more friction= the more viscous(thicker) a substance is
higher temp=lower viscosity lower temp=higher viscosity
Viscosity changes with temp
You can measure viscosity by using the "Ramp Method"
