Igneous
Basalt and Granite are both forms of igneous rock
They are formed when molten magma from the earths inner crust cools! It forms an Intrusive Rock!
Metamorphic Rock
Are rocks which have been put under massive amounts of pressure and are normally very hard wearing! Ex: Marble and Slate
Sedimentary!
are formed from sediments at the bottom of a lake or sea, which compress over millions of years. Examples are sandstone, limestone and clay.
