monniter can not change the instructions
given/stored in the ROM. When power is lost
the information is not lost/removed.
What type of memory is RAM?
It is a a type of memory that you can change
and read what information is stored.
Applications and programs use this memory
for your settings etc. The information is
temporary and when power is lost so is the
information.

RAM is volatile however ROM is
not. RAM makes your computer
faster when booting up your
computer.
What does volatile mean?
Volatile means that the information can
change quickly and unpredictdly for the worse.

Dynamic means the memory is
refreshed constantly.
Static means that it will stay
