Scaffolding Strategies
1. Teacher: Use of First Language- translate CVC words, CVC e words, days of the week and months into
students' first languages Student: Learn the meaning of English words as they are learning to write as well
2. Teacher: Use Visual Aids- I will get pictures that correlate with CVC words, CVC e words, days of the week
and months Student: visually see the words and pictures
4. Teacher: Read Aloud- the students will be challenged to read the days of the week and months Student: Sound out the words and practice
