can spread very fast in the air e.g. sneezing when you got flu.
disease can spread in 3 ways through
particles in the air, in food that isn't cooked
properly , through cuts in the skin.
you can protect yourself against diseases like getting flu jabs to help
prevent getting flu, check your food is cooked before eating, use a plaster
or bandage to cover your skin you can also take antibiotics until your
white blood cells come and take out the disease that is making you ill.
if the flu jabs or you can't cook the food
properly you can go to the doctor and tell
them what's wrong and they will give you
some antibiotics to kill some of the bacteria
and after a while the white blood cells will
come and destroy the remaining bacteria.
you have two lines of defence in your body you have the first line of defence ,
the first lines of defence are a scab forming over your cut , your first line of
defence for flu is the mucus blocking all the bad stuff coming out , the first
line of defence against uncooked food will be your stomach acid which
destroys the bacteria attached to the food.
the second line of defence will be your white blood cells which kill the
bacteria after the first line of defence the second line of defence prevents
the bacteria from attacking your body again.
