  1. Long Radio waves
    1. They diffract and bend allowing them to travel extremely long distances
      1. They curve around the earth
        1. Also diffract around hills, tunnels, houses and all sorts
          1. This bending and diffraction means signals can be recieved even it the reciever is not in direct sight of the transmitter.
        2. Medium signals
          1. These can also diffract and reflect off the ionosphere however only in certain conditions and at different times of day.
          2. Short waves
            1. These cannot bend nor reflect or diffract.
              1. unless you are in direct sight of the transmitter signals canot be recieved.
