websites.-Afterwards we will have a
discussion about what we found.

Lesson #9- Residential School
Together we will be looking at a day in the life of
a residential school student, talking about
conditions, life, discipline. We will also be watching
Shi shi etko video- 6 minutes- We will be reading
Not my Girl and having a class discussion. We
will be in groups making tableux's to represent
parts of the book. We will be talking about cause
and consequence.

Diseases and
Trading
Together we will be reading text
about diseases and trading and
adding notes to the back of our
poster. We will be talking about
Making Ethical Judgement too.

appropriate ways to respond (

I will be using the class generated criteria to mark poster.
Celebration of Learning: Blanket Exercise
Culminating Task: Students will write a final writing response that talks about the consequence of contact that lead to trade and settlement.
I will be providing a rubric before they start this assignment, I will be marking their response based on the rubric.
